About Us

My husband and I have owned dogs for many years, or should I say that they have probably owned us, as over the course of time I have found that our daily lives are shaped more and more by them and their needs.

Spike was our first dog, a British Bulldog, a stubborn character that loves to chew (anything)!  Recently we have added to the team with Cocoa a Spanish Water Dog and Luca an Italian Spinone, these two are very active TUFF DOGS, their heritage being firmly ensconced in hunting, fishing, herding and just generally keeping busy.

We spend a fair amount of time in the mountainous regions of Spain and the terrain there is very changeable and often harsh for the dogs, from rough and rocky ground to woodland and lakes, so we need the very best and rigorous kit for our dogs to keep them well equipped and protected. The weather is also very harsh, extremes can be found throughout the seasons. The summers are very hot and the winters very cold and often snowy. The gang needs the very best quality kit to keep them both cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

Over the years we have tried and tested a large amount of dog accessories/equipment so we know what works for us and our dogs and what doesn’t and I found that I wanted to share our experiences to ensure other dogs and their families know about the very best STUFF on the market, hence Tuffdogs Stuff was born.
